EXHIBITION “LINE, MUSIC, PRINT”
EXPRESS - CULTURAL EXPRESS
young graphic art
The plastic artists Gustavo Emé and Joseph de Utia present their proposals in the gallery of the Euroidiomas Foundation”
Last Thursday night, the Euroidiomas Foundation inaugurated the exhibition “Línea. Music. Impression” at its Miraflores premises, which brings together the recent work of young plastic artists Gustavo Emé and Joseph de Utia. On this occasion, the Foundation is committed to a young graphic art proposal that works on various technical possibilities in plastic arts.
The exhibition “Line. Music. Impression” visualizes the future of life in the face of the current culture of a youth eager to show itself inside and outside the spaces that surround it. In this circumstance, the artists Emé and De Utia face new technical possibilities such as plotting, digital art and its various manipulations, turning these supports into unique expressions.
De Utia (graduated from the Escuela de Arte Corriente Alterna) shows us rock actors and singers painted with contrasting tones that reflect a direct influence of French fauvism that marked a radical change at the beginning of the last century, where color was the essence for their paintings.
On the other hand, Emé (Faculty of Art of the PUCP) synthesizes his designs and digital impressions as linear encounters. A series of dancers who oscillate in ancestral worlds that intersect giving rise to ordered nuances. His characters spread out in freshly made imaginary and futuristic cities.

“Through this fifth consecutive exhibition that we present, the Foundation reaffirms its commitment to promoting culture in the country. We are currently working on various projects aimed at the community in the areas of art, social welfare, education and teaching. Soon we will be announcing a series of activities around the celebration of twenty-five years of uninterrupted work in Peru by the Euroidiomas group”, said Aldo Lazo, president of the Foundation.
The works of Emé and De Utia that are presented in the exhibition “Línea. Music. Printing” can be seen until the first days of September at Av. Santa Cruz 111, Miraflores. Visiting hours are from 8am to 9pm. Admission is free.
